Migmom French Fries (سیب زمینی سرخ کرده میگمام)

A simple parboil-then-fry technique for extra crispy homemade French fries.

Ingredients
  

  • potatoes cut into fries
  • salt
  • oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Cut the potatoes into even fry-shaped sticks and rinse well.
  2. Parboil the fries in salted water for a few minutes until just tender but not falling apart, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
  3. Heat oil to frying temperature and fry the parboiled potatoes until golden and crisp.
  4. Drain on paper towels and season with salt immediately before serving.
