Migmom Baguette (نان باگت میگمام)

A simple, classic baguette dough.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g white flour
  • 7 g yeast
  • 10 g salt
  • 5 g sugar
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • warm water as needed
  • 3 tbsp warm milk for activating the yeast

Method
 

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk; let sit until foamy.
  2. Combine flour and salt; add the yeast mixture, oil, and enough warm water to form a smooth dough.
  3. Knead well, let rise until doubled, then shape into baguettes, proof again, score, and bake in a hot oven (220-230°C) until golden and crusty, about 20-25 minutes.
