Migmom Brownie Cake (کیک براونیز میگمام)

A low-flour, high-chocolate brownie-style cake loaded with chopped nuts.

Ingredients
  

  • 120 g flour
  • 120 g chocolate chips dark or milk, not white
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 200 g butter
  • 120 g sugar
  • 3-4 eggs depending on size
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 60 g walnuts, hazelnuts, or almonds chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease and line a baking pan.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate chips together (double boiler or microwave) until smooth.
  3. Whisk in sugar, then eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder; fold until just combined.
  5. Fold in most of the chopped nuts, reserving some for topping.
  6. Pour into the pan, sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes until set but still fudgy in the center.
  8. Cool in the pan before slicing.
