Migmom's Pizza — Try It At Least Once! (پیتزای میگمام...)

A milk-based pizza dough paired with a rich homemade tomato sauce — Migmom says it's worth trying at least once.

Ingredients

Dough (serves 4)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • warm water just enough for dough to come together
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tomato grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 onion small, grated
  • 1 clove garlic large, grated
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 1 bay leaf remove after cooking
  • 1 tbsp basil, parsley, and oregano mixed
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

Dough
  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk; let sit until foamy.
  2. Combine flour and salt; add the yeast mixture, olive oil, and just enough warm water to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead until smooth, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  4. Divide, shape, top with sauce and toppings of choice, and bake in a hot oven until golden.
Sauce
  1. Sauté the grated onion and garlic in olive oil and butter until fragrant.
  2. Add the grated tomato and tomato paste; cook down for a few minutes.
  3. Stir in nutmeg, bay leaf, mixed herbs, parmesan, salt, and pepper; simmer until thickened.
  4. Remove the bay leaf before using the sauce on pizza.
