Migmom Festive Apple Cake

Migmom Festive Apple Cake (کیک سیب مجلسی میگمام)

A festive sponge cake topped with grated apple, sliced almonds, and a cinnamon-sugar finish.

Ingredients
  

  • 125 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk 80ml
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 apple grated
  • 50 g almonds sliced
  • sugar extra, for topping mix
  • cinnamon for topping mix
  • powdered sugar for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease and line a cake pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  3. Sift flour and baking powder together; fold into the batter alternately with the milk.
  4. Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
  5. Mix grated apple with a little extra sugar and cinnamon; scatter over the batter along with sliced almonds.
  6. Bake 35-40 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.
  7. Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
