Migmom Homemade Lavash Bread (نان لواش خانگی میگمام)
A thin Persian flatbread traditionally cooked on an inverted pan over an open flame.
Ingredients
Method
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; let sit until foamy.
- Combine flour and salt; add the yeast mixture, warm milk, and oil. Mix into a smooth, soft dough.
- Knead well, cover, and let rest 30-45 minutes.
- Divide into small balls and roll out each very thinly.
- Heat an inverted pan or griddle over an open flame until very hot.
- Drape each rolled-out dough over the hot surface and cook briefly until bubbled and lightly browned on both sides.
